Retraction of an Article
Retraction of an Article
- Retraction of an article is carried out on the initiative of the author or the Editorial Board.
- Retraction of an article could be initiated by the author on his personal written request to the editor-in-chief indicating the grounds for retraction.
- The grounds for retraction of the article are:
- detection of plagiarism;
- duplication of the submitted material in several editions;
- falsifications of data in the article (e.g. in experimental data);
- detection of serious errors in the article (e.g. incorrect interpretation of the results), that compromise its scientific value.
- The editors consider the author’s request for retraction within a month from the date of its receipt.
- If the Editorial Board makes a decision on retraction of an article based on expert assessment, it will inform the author on its decision and the exact ground for retraction.
- On taking a decision on retraction of an article, the Editorial Board posts a specific indication about the retraction on the Journal’s website in the archive version of the corresponding Journal’s issue with the date of retraction and its grounds.
- A simple removal of an article from the archive on the journal’s website is not allowed. The retracted articles should remain available where they were previously posted.
- When retraction procedure is complete, the Editorial Board will send the information about the retraction to the Scientific Electronic Library – eLIBRARY.RU.
